私の芸術活動は、ビデオパフォーマンスを通じて人間の身体と自然とのつながりを探求するものであり、その中でシェルター（隠れ家）の構築にも取り組んできました。作品を通して自然の中にシェルターを見出そうとしており、それは母の胎内がもたらす保護に似た形で私を守ってくれるものだと考えています。人間が住まない場所との情緒的なつながりを伝えることで、私たちが実際に暮らしている場所との関係性を問い直したいのです。
私にとって、糸島は自然との情感的なつながりを探るのに理想的な環境です。レジデンスを取り巻く多様な生態系に強く惹かれています。そこでは海・山・田んぼと人間との関係を探究することができますが、チリには田んぼがないため、特に田んぼに強い興味を持っています。私はこの土地の環境を深く観察・体験し、その体験を通じて芸術的な創作を育てたいと考えています。そして、そこで生まれた思考や視点を作品としてこの地域の方々にお返しし、共に感じ考えるきっかけを共有できればと願っています。

“My artistic work explores the link of the human body with nature through video performance, where I have also explored the construction of shelters. I seek to find a shelter through my work of art, finding it in nature, in an analogous way to the protection provided by the maternal womb.I seek to transmit an affective bond with places not inhabited by humans, to question our current relationship with the places we do inhabit.
For me, Itoshima is an ideal setting to explore possible affective connections with nature. I am greatly attracted to explore the ecosystem surrounding the residency because of the variety it offers. Where one can explore the human relationship with the sea, the mountains and the rice fields, being the last one of special interest because I can not find them in Chile. I´m very interested in exploring the environment and allowing the territory to nurture my artistic creation, always with the hope of returning the look to the people of this territory through my art and sharing the reflections that arise.”
