ベアトリス・ユー（Bady）は、フィリピンのマニラを拠点に活動する独学のペン＆インクアーティストである。
彼女の作品は、ポップ・シュールレアリズムに大きく影響されており、日常生活で直面する経験や疑問が彼女の芸術のルーツとなっている。これらのパターンは、アート制作におけるセラピー的アプローチとして、これらの力を表現するために使用され、それ自体で展開させています。
現在、フリーランスのイラストレーター、壁画家として活動しています。日本での滞在期間中に、風景や周囲の環境からインスピレーションを得て、様々なパターンを使用する方法を学び、向上させることを目標としています。”
“ Beatriz Yu / Bady , is a self-taught pen & ink artist based in Manila, Philippines.
Bady’s works are largely influenced by pop- surrealism and her art roots from the experiences and questions she faces in her daily life. From the inner world of her dreams, she likes to create her own creatures and express these in various patterns shaped into beings – With these patterns serving as therapeutic approach in making art she uses these as a representation for these forces and let them unfold on their own.
Bady is currently working as a freelance illustrator and muralist. She aims to use her time here in Japan to learn and enhance her approach in using different patterns as inspired by the sceneries and her surroundings. “
