Laura Williams (Australia) Residence: May to June 2017
Laura Williams is a painter based in Perth, Western Australia.
Laura graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2006 and since then has been exhibiting in Perth and around Australia.
Working predominantly with watercolours, Laura’s work draws from her surrounding environment to explore aspects of our relationship with the natural world.
During the residency, Laura will be creating a series of small watercolour paintings, inspired by the natural environment in Itoshima.
