Nobushige Kono (Japan) Residence: February 2018
Nobushige Kono was born in Hiroshima, Japan, and mainly works in the field of installation art. His projects have been exhibited internationally.
Kono often (re-)structurizes spaces with recycled materials, in order to seek alternative ways of approaching various topics.
During his stay at Studio Kura, Kono would like to make works based on a research which will be conducted mainly in Tsushima, exploring some aspects of the Russo-Japanese War.
