Thomas Hadland (Australia) Residency: December, 2013
Thomas Hadland works mostly at night using various make-shift lights to illuminate a scene in a way that he sees fit. This allows complete control over how he wishes the landscape to look and the overall feel. He started with just a keen ambition and learnt a lot of techniques about the night photography by trial and error, however he attended Hunter Street TAFE to hone his skills with the camera itself. From that he has travelled all across the Hunter Valley, New South Wales, Australia venturing into the night to photograph.
