Kristine Marx (USA) Residency: February, 2014
Kristine Marx is an American artist who works in the visual arts, including video, animation and installation. She was born on a farm in Pennsylvania and studied at Sarah Lawrence College (Bronxville, NY) and Hunter College (New York City). She presently lives and works in New York City and Philadelphia, but travels abroad whenever possible.
Kristine is an Assistant Professor at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
She stayed during 2014/Feb/8th-Mar/14th and on Mar/8th had the solo exhibition「Interior Scenes」at Studio Kura Gallery. She introduced paintings which were influenced by UKIOE and Nature of Itoshima.
