Here are some pictures and memories from SakuraItoshiMatsuri, a festival held near a beautiful Shinto shrine at the peninsula part of Itoshima.
Studio Kura had a booth. So crafty!
This little girl was very happy with Claire’s postcards.
This is an installation featuring umbrellas painted by our kid students.
Claire painted her own umbrella too.
She also had a beautiful installation with scrolls attached to trees.
Zack presented an installation recreating the Ring of Fire with rice.
Itoshima mascot character Itogon had a lot of fun with the kids, too. Thanks to everyone who joined us at the festival site, and to our wonderful staff!
