We are pleased to announce an exhibition Pause in Moments by Neda Dana-Haeri on April 21 (Sat) & 22 (Sun), as a result of her activity during her stay at Studio Kura.
Neda Dana-Haeri was born in Iran and has been living in England since 1977. She studied Psychology and Fine Arts and currently lives and works in London.
Neda’s art is inspired by Persian poetry and Eastern philosophy. Her works reflect the images of the past, the myths, the fluent stories that change shape with time and yet carry with them the unconscious emotions affecting our daily life.
Here are some words from the artist herself.
Exploring the concept of Ma. Space/gap -in between/pause. A boundary which is not a define line but an expanse. Through the movement of ink and brush shadow and light filling the space. There is no absence…. there’s room for growth. Eternal through the fleeting moment.
