We are pleased to announce an exhibition living my best life by Tegan Iversen on October 26(Sat.) – 27(Sun.), as a result of her activity during her stay at Studio Kura.
Tegan Iversen is an artist & illustrator based in Melbourne, Australia. She creates fun, cute & colourful visual art through drawing, painting & digital techniques. Her practise often revolves around her everyday life, finding inspiration in things such as food, film, nature & feelings & always aims to be honest.
This new body of work is a visual collection of memories. They are mementos from experiences I’ve had, such as food I’ve eaten, places I’ve been (notably this trip to Japan), my family, pets, animals & insects I’ve seen, words I’ve heard & feelings I’ve had.
The artworks represent me & what it is to be a person in this huge, weird, wild world, whilst just trying to live my best life.

* We will hold an artist talk on 26th (Sat.), starting at 15:00.
* The exhibitions by other nine current residence artists will be held at the same exhibition periods.
