We are pleased to announce an exhibition “花言葉: language of flowers” by Lim Jun Yu on February 22(Sat.) & 23(Sun.), as a result of his activity during his stay at Studio Kura.
Lim Jun Yu is a beginner digital artist and he has only started drawing for a year. Recently graduated from Singapore’s 3dsense media school in 2019, he is aspiring to become a digital concept artist for games company. His dream is to be able to create commercialized art that can entertain and inspire people in different mediums such as games, movies, anime and comic ect.
For this exhibition I will be doing a series of painted illustration based on my interpretation of flowers. The flowers are all colored in red but all have different meanings. I wanted to use these flowers to portray different emotions/ feelings I had in the different stage of my life.
