Stephanie Sleiman is a Lebanese-American artist and designer from Long Beach, California. Her work takes interest in cultural collisions of the diaspora, themes on experience through nature, and personal + collective storytelling, healing, & world-building.
Working across mediums of graphic design, video, and painting, she leads a multi-focus practice that seeks to conjure cross-disciplinary dialogue, critical assembly, expansion, and play.
This is her first time in Japan, and she is excited to implement her long-time inspirations of Japanese culture and design philosophies into a series of paper-projects on symbolism and mythologies.
