Announcing Nadia Oh Sueh Peng’s Exhibition “The Butterfly and The Crab”

We are pleased to announce an exhibition The Butterfly and The Crab by Nadia Oh Sueh Peng on June 23 (Sat) & 24 (Sun), as a result of her activity during her stay at Studio Kura.

Nadia Oh Sueh Peng is a visual artist based in Singapore. She received her Master of Art in Fine Art from Goldsmiths’ College, University of London at LASALLE College of the Arts. Her artworks include lithography and aquatint printmaking, sculptures, installation and photographic prints on fabric together with stitching. Nadia’s approach to artwork is poetic and intricate.
Nadia is inspired by fleeting moments of light and shadow in nature, as seen from the confines of the typical Singaporean apartment block. She aims to explore the notions of the earthly and empyreal treasures through her practice.

Here are some words from the artist herself.

A date with the butterfly and the crab, so that one could getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. It allows us to enjoy the beauty of nature as well as inspires us to have a balanced and harmony lifestyle.
