この度Studio KuraではMercedes Ngによる「In the Midst of Gods」と題された展示会を開催いたします。このシリーズは、福岡を周る列車から見える建物をベースにしており、私たちが建物に守られることについて考えさせられます。
展示作品には、建物の中から垣間見える人々の日常の姿が描かれており、私たちが個々に持つ安全と安心の感覚について問いかけます。
展覧会では25日（土）14:30からアーティストトークも予定されています。入場は無料ですので、ぜひお越しください。

We are pleased to announce an exhibition entitled “In the Midst of Gods” by Mercedes Ng. This series of paintings is based on buildings seen from the train that circles Fukuoka, prompting us to reflect on the security that buildings provide us.
Through her works, Ng depicts the daily lives of people glimpsed from within the buildings, questioning the sense of safety and comfort that we individually possess.
An artist talk is scheduled for the 25th at 14:30. Admission is free, so please come and visit.
