ジョーダン・バリー・ブラウンは、アイルランド、ダブリン出身のイラストレーターで漫画家です。彼の作品はヒップホップ音楽、世界中のコミックアート、B級映画、そしてビニールレコードのアートとカルチャーに触発されています。彼のブランド「ILLstrips」は2019年に設立され、それ以降は彼のコミックブックシリーズ「Cosmic Slop」、宇宙でのヒップホップカルチャーの復活の物語、そして他の多くのコミックブックやイラスト関連のプロジェクトに取り組んできました。

Jordan Barry-Browne is an illustrator and cartoonist from Dublin, Ireland.
His work is inspired by Hip-Hop music, comic book art from around the world, B-Movies and vinyl record art and culture. His brand ILLstrips was established in 2019, since then he has worked on his comic book series Cosmic Slop, the story of the revival of Hip-Hop culture in space, as well as many other comic book and illustration related projects.
It’s Jordan’s first time in Japan and he’s excited to begin an artist residency at Studio Kura. Here he plans to focus on a project inspired by Yokai, while taking inspiration from the idyllic surroundings Ishibashi has to offer.
