Winneke de Groot and Felix van Dam are two artists working together under the name: ‘We are out of office’. They’re very DIY in their approach to art, skilled as screen printers, paintersand illustrators.
They run a small studio based in a cherryorchard just outside Utrecht, The Netherlands. Their work isinspired by little rarities, objects or memories they pick up in daily life or during traveling. They use a wide range of media covering print, painting, sculpture, textile and more. Their style is recognisable, has a bold and colourful aesthetic and reflects their graphic background.
Lately they have been working on several kinetic sculptures andduring their residency at Studio Kura they will focus on smallkinetic works inspired by Japanese advertisement / signs.
