Chen Ke Hsuan (Upa) is an artist originally from Taiwan and now based in Berlin.
Her focus on visual language weaves between abstraction and figuration, expressed in a fashion that is at times wild and at other times serene.
Thought the quick movements of her brush strokes, she creates a sensual space where metal landscapes and insights coexist. In her interdisciplinary practice, she reproduce the memory of nature and personal experience by weaving together paintings, ceramics, photography and tattoos.
