Marisa Seguin is a Nikkei Canadian illustrator based in Seattle, WA. Through her work, she loves to explore everyday objects such as food, buildings, and plants and render them in a way that she hopes will make people think twice about these sometimes seemingly mundane things. She loves to blur the line between digital and traditional media in her illustrations and incorporates many hand printed textures into her work. During her time at Studio Kura, she looks forward to creating many new illustrations inspired by her time in Japan and taking some extra time to step outside of her computer to create artwork.
