私はメルボルンと上海に住む中国人アーティストのユジャ・ディンです。私の作品は、サウンド、ビデオ、オブジェクトを融合させた混合メディアのインスタレーションに焦点を当てています。これらを通じて、没入型の空間を構築しています。
2018年からオーストラリアで学んでおり、多様な文化の影響を受け、帰属意識を見つけ、個人のアイデンティティを探求する旅に出ました。私の創作活動は、自己表現のための手段として機能しています。
これは、アジアの文脈で創造する初めての試みです。新しいプロジェクトの方向性はまだ定まっていませんが、糸島の自然と文化が新しい創造的なアイデアを刺激してくれることを楽しみにしています。
I’m Yuja Ding, a Chinese artist currently residing in Melbourne and Shanghai. My focus revolves around crafting mixed-media installations, where I blend sound, video, and objects to construct immersive spaces.
Since 2018, I’ve been in Australia for studies, and the influence of diverse cultures has propelled me on a journey to uncover a sense of belonging and delve into my personal identity. My creations serve as a medium for self-expression.
This is my first attempt at creating within an Asian context. Though I haven‘t defined the direction of my new project yet, I look forward to the nature and culture of Itoshima inspiring new creative ideas.
